# Advanced Product Meta Overview

The [DiviMerc Advanced Product Meta module](https://divimerc.com/modules/advanced-product-meta/) lets you display and arrange WooCommerce product details with details like categories, tags, SKU, rating, shipping class, stock and weight.

**Important Note:**

- Make sure Advanced Product Meta is enabled under **DiviMerc → Modules**.
- Add the required product information in WooCommerce. Meta items with no available data are automatically hidden.

Let’s see the settings in brief and how to make better use of it.

## Content Tab

The Content tab lets you add meta types, configure their meta-specific settings, arrange the structure and choose which product supplies the data.

### Meta Fields

Categories, Tags and SKU fields come by default. You can add more meta fields by clicking on the “**Add Categories**” in the same module and arrange them as required.

Available meta types include:

- Brand
- Categories
- Dimensions
- Rating
- SKU
- Shipping Class
- Stock
- Tags
- Weight

**Apply Structure Template:** Rearrange the currently added meta fields with a preset Grid or Multi-Row structure.

### **Content**

The Product option lets you choose which product’s meta data will be displayed in the product page.

- **This Product** dynamically displays the meta data of the current product.
- **Latest Product:** Automatically displays the meta data of the most recently added product.
- **Specific Product:** Lets you select a specific product and display its meta data wherever the module is used.

**Background:** Configure the module background using Divi’s standard background controls.

**Element Label:** Rename the module for easier identification inside the Divi Builder. This label is visible only in the Builder.

## Design Tab

The Design tab lets you control how products’ meta data are arranged and style the overall module.

**Layout:** The layout configurations are only available with best seller badge and when no badge is selected.

**Sizing:** Control the module’s width, height and dimension behavior.

**Spacing:** Set margins and padding around the module.

**Border:** Configure border width, style, color and corner radius.

**Box Shadow:** Add and customize a shadow around the module.

**Filters:** Apply visual effects such as blur, brightness, contrast and saturation.

**Transform:** Reposition, scale, rotate or skew the module.

**Animation:** Add an animation to the module for a more dynamic presentation.

## Advanced Tab

The Advanced tab provides the standard Divi settings for custom CSS, visibility conditions, transitions, attributes, positioning and other advanced controls.

## Meta Items Configurations

For each nine meta types, you will get individual settings. Such as:

### When you select Brand meta

Content tab > Brand Settings:

- **Content Display Type:** Select the format to display the brand information:
  - Name
  - Thumbnail
  - Thumbnail & Name
- **Separator:** Define the character or symbol used to separate multiple items
- **Show Primary Brand Only:** If multiple brands are assigned to a product, enable this toggle to display only the primary brand.
- **Enable Links:** Toggle to make the brand items clickable links.
- **Singular Label:** Define the text label shown when there is only a single brand
- **Plural Label:** Define the text label shown when there are multiple brands

#### Design Tab

- **Label:** Customize the typography, color, and spacing of the field's title.
- **Separator:** Style the specific separator character used between items, controlling its color, size and spacing.
- **Item Design:** Style the actual dynamic meta values, adjusting its typography, background or alignment as needed.

You will also get sizing, spacing, border, box shadow, filters, transform and animation for further customization.

### When you select Categories

Content tab > Categories Settings:

- **Content Display Type:** Select the format to display the categories information:
  - Name
  - Thumbnail
  - Thumbnail & Name
- **Separator:** Define the character or symbol used to separate multiple items

### When you select Dimensions

Content tab > Dimensions Settings:

- **Label:** Define the text label shown before the dimension values.
- **Show Length:** Toggle to display or hide the product's length.
- **Show Width:** Toggle to display or hide the product's width.
- **Show Height:** Toggle to display or hide the product's height.

#### Design Tab

- **Label:** Customize the typography, color, and spacing of the field's title.
- **Item Design:** Style the actual dynamic meta values (the specific category names), adjusting their typography, background, or alignment independently from the label.

You will also get sizing, spacing, border, box shadow, filters, transform and animation for further customization.

### When you select Rating

Content tab > Rating Settings:

**Rating Format:** Select the visual style to display the product's rating (e.g., Stars).

- **Rating Format:** Select the visual style to display the product's rating:
  - Star
  - Numeric
  - Fraction
- **Show Review Count:** Toggle to display or hide the total number of customer reviews.
- **Label:** Define the text label shown before the rating information.

#### Design Tab

- **Label:** Customize the typography, color, and spacing of the field's title.
- **Item Design:** Style the actual dynamic meta values (the specific category names), adjusting their typography, background, or alignment independently from the label.
- **Rating:** Adjust ratings size, color and fill color.

### When you select SKU

Content tab > SKU Settings:

- **Label:** Define the text label shown before the SKU values.

### When you select Shipping Class

Content tab > Shipping Class Settings:

- **Label:** Define the text label shown before the shipping class values.

### When you select Stock meta

Content tab > Stock Settings:

- **Stock Display:** Select how the product's stock information is presented:
  - Status Only
  - Quantity Only
  - Quantity+Status
  - Low Stock Warning
- **Label:** Define the text label shown before the shipping class values.

- **Item Design:** Style the actual dynamic meta values (the specific category names), adjusting their typography, background, or alignment independently from the label.

You will also get sizing, spacing, border, box shadow, filters, transform and animation for further customization.

### When you select Tags meta

Content tab > Tags Settings:

- **Separator:** Define the character or symbol used to separate multiple tag items.
- **Show First Tag Only:** If multiple tags are assigned to a product, enable this toggle to display only the first tag.
- **Enable Links:** Toggle to make the tag items clickable links to their respective archive pages.
- **Singular Label:** Define the text label shown when there is only a single tag assigned.
- **Plural Label:** Define the text label shown when there are multiple tags assigned.

#### Design Tab

- **Label:** Customize the typography, color, and spacing of the field's title.
- **Separator:** Style the specific separator character used between items, controlling its color, size, and spacing.
- **Item Design:** Style the actual dynamic meta values (the specific category names), adjusting their typography, background, or alignment independently from the label.

You will also get sizing, spacing, border, box shadow, filters, transform and animation for further customization.

### When you select Weight

Content tab > Weight Settings:

- **Label:** Define the text label shown before the weight values.

- **Item Design:** Style the actual dynamic meta values (the specific category names), adjusting their typography, background, or alignment independently from the label.

You will also get sizing, spacing, border, box shadow, filters, transform and animation for further customization.

## Advanced Tab

Each meta item also includes Divi’s standard **Advanced** settings for custom CSS, visibility conditions, transitions, attributes, positioning and other advanced controls.
