Which Platforms Does Product Share Support?

Product Share supports eight sharing options: Facebook, X (Twitter), WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Pinterest, email, copy link, and a Custom slot for any other service. Five are genuine social platforms, while email and copy link cover the private and manual ways shoppers actually pass a product link along.

Why Does Product Share Only Include Eight Platforms?

Product Share includes only eight platforms because these are the ones product links actually get shared on, not a padded list of networks nobody uses for shopping. The Custom slot covers anything else you need today, and more platforms are on the way.

Why Can't I Find Product Share Item in the Module List?

You won't find Product Share Item as its own toggle because it's a child module. Child modules follow their parent automatically, so switching on Product Share enables every Share Item inside it, and each item still styles, labels, and configures on its own.

How Do I Build the Button List?

Add the Product Share module, then add one Share Item child inside it per platform. Each item is its own building block, which is what lets you style, reorder, and label them individually.

How Do I Add a Platform That Isn't Listed?

Add a Share Item, set its Platform to Custom, and enter a Custom Share URL using {url} where the product link should go.

Can One Button Show Text and Another Only an Icon?

No. Item Type is one setting for the whole set of buttons, not something that can differ button to button.

Can I Make One Button Look Different From the Rest?

Yes. Style the whole set at once, then override any single button's icon color, size, or label on its own.

Can I Show the Buttons in a Popup Instead?

Yes. Switch View Type to Modal and a Share button opens a popup containing your buttons, with an optional copy-link field and space for a title and description.

Can I Put the Buttons Down the Side of the Page?

Yes. Set the layout to a column and use Divi's position controls to keep it in view as shoppers scroll, no custom CSS.

Does It Load a Third-Party Script or Track My Visitors?

No. The buttons link directly to each platform, so there's no external social widget loading on your store and nothing tracking your shoppers.

Why Won't the Icon Size Change?

Turn on Use Custom Icon Size first. The Icon Size field does nothing until that toggle is on.

Does It Show Share Counts?

No. The module focuses on the sharing itself rather than displaying counts.

Does It Use the Phone's Native Share Sheet?

No. It links directly to each platform instead of opening the device's built-in share dialog.

Does It Work on Mobile?

Yes. The layout, fonts, colors, icon sizes, and modal width are all adjustable per device. On phones, WhatsApp opens straight into the app; since tooltips need hover, consider showing icons with text on phone instead.

Is It Accessible?

Yes. The modal handles focus and keyboard interaction properly, and tooltips give every icon a readable name.

Is It Compatible With WooCommerce and Divi?
